Dated 24.07.2026 – “AISEC Condemns PM’s Hollow Promises and Exposes rulers’ Pro-Elite CBT Conspiracy”
Prof. Tarun Kanti Naskar (General Secretary, All India Save Education Committee) issued the following press release today:
For nearly two months, thousands of students across the country have been agitating against the NEET‑UG question‑paper leakage – the biggest examination scandal in India’s medical education history. In this period, 21 young students have committed suicide. Over 2.3 million candidates have had their futures destroyed by this systematic fraud.
Now, the Prime Minister has finally spoken – but not on the floor of Parliament; instead, through a casual “selfie video”! He has completely avoided addressing the root causes of the paper leakage, refused to name the real perpetrators, and instead offered hollow promises of setting up “fast‑track courts.” Meanwhile, for years, the actual culprits have been moving freely with the full political patronage of the ruling party at the Centre. Not a single high‑level political figure has been touched.
Even more outrageous is the statement of the Union Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, announcing ‘the panacea for all the ills’ : that is, from 2027, the NEET will go “fully computer‑based” (Computer Based Testing- CBT). This exactly confirms our longstanding apprehension: the present question‑paper leakage was deliberately engineered to pave the way for CBT, the ‘dubious digital agenda’ – hatched at the behest of “money hungry private medical colleges and Coaching Institution”! CBT will favour the elite, make manipulation and corruption far more difficult to be traced in digital form.
AISEC stands firmly with the boldly agitating students, youth and parents. We appeal to the people of this country: join us in ever‑larger numbers. We will not rest until justice is delivered.
The Prime Minister and the Education Minister have not addressed our core demands. We reiterate them unequivocally:
- Sack the Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, immediately;
- Punish all those who brutally beat up peaceful student protesters;
- Abolish NTA and NEET entirely. The state governments be empowered to design methodology for admission to MBBS / BDS undergraduate courses.
We will continue our struggle until these demands are met and the lives of our children are honoured with real accountability!
