News Dated 25.07.2025 – Vehemently criticizing the incident of death of seven students and injury of 16 of them in Jhalawarh, Rajasthan due to the collapse of roof of a government run school during class hour the General Secretary of AISEC Prof. Tarun Kanti Naskar said in a statement today:
The incident once more draws attention to the negligence and apathy of the government to the state-funded education system of the country. It is impossible to understand how the concerned authorities could not even detect that the condition of the building has been
dilapidated to such a degree and allowed classes to continue in that building. While demanding adequate compensation to the next of kin of those who lost their valuable lives we also demand arrangement of proper medical treatment of the injured students. Besides, we demand exemplary punishment to those for whose negligence such a tragic incident could occur.
